Lamborghini Got Bored Over Winter And Went For A Wild Ride

We're certainly not brave enough to jump a Urus.

Really, all this is at its core is a list of places you'd least expect to see aLamborghini Aventador. Or aHuracan. Or, well, you get the idea. Point is, brands reallyarejust like us. It looks like Lamborghini got a bit bored just sitting around in wintry Sant'Agata and looking at all of its pretty cars. So it did what the rest of us would do in a similar situation: it went and hooned them around in the snow.

The drive event ran from the factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese to the Cervino peaks. Again, not really where you'd expect to see a Lamborghini, especially some of the crazierroad-going race cars like the Huracan STO. Lamborghini says the event was curated for "participants to experience authentic driving insights in every moment," which probably translates to "Hey, do you wanna go drive your supercar around in the snow?"

More specifically, the route traced up 300 or so miles of Italy's best salt-soaked roads to a resort at the base of the aforementioned Cervino peaks. But you can't just make a beeline up a mountain pass in a Lamborghini. The drivers paid for the whole speedometer and presumably used it along the autoroute to Valle d'Aosta. The area is one of Italy's most beautiful and mountainous, sharing a border with France to the north. From there, the group also visited Forte di Bard, a very Italian-looking mountain top castle.

The real highlight, however, wasn't the drifting or the twisty roads. Instead, it was the moment some lunatic decided tojump someone else's Urus. Thankfully, Lamborghini's photographers captured the whole thing. It's just a shame no one was able to get it on video.

As far as ways to spend a cold March day go, this is pretty up there. We're also thoroughly surprised at the number of cars that turned up. You'd normally think thesesix-figure supercarswould sit tucked away in a Lake Como villa, life slowly being fed back into it with a trickle-charger. It's good to see owners using their cars, and even better to see someone send it over the top of a purple Lamborghini.
