Hyundai Kona Spied Towing A Trailer Almost Twice Its Size

TheHyundai Konais in for some changes, and we have hot, fresh new photos of said changes. From the looks of things, the Kona grows just a bit, but by and large, keeps the look we know. The Kona was Hyundai's first split-headlamp car, a trend that has been seen on many Genesis models and evenBMW's latest flagships. Our spies report that the new Kona will continue that trend. We even see一个转为叙述e Genesis GV60in the front end. As compared to last year's car, the new 2023 model now gets updated vertical lower lamps. That's much more in line with Hyundai's design philosophy.

In all likelihood, the newest Kona will keep both gas and hybrid powertrains, just like the current one. As of now, this is at least some evidence that the raucous Kona N will survive. At least, until Hyundai decides to kill it like it did the Veloster N (still heartbroken). Our spies say the one we're all looking at here was a gas-powered one, and perhaps it received a power boost of some kind to be able to tow the large trailer seen in these spy shots.

There will also be an electrified version (likely very much like the Genesis GV60) which Hyundai is internally calling the SX2e EV. The spies tell us the 'e' denotes Europe, allegedly, but those reports are unconfirmed. They've also heard mention of an SX2 N Line, again indicating that Hyundai will keepits N-branded Kona modelsgoing for a while longer.
