How To Make A New Fiat Interior Look Like An XBox Console

This is one hot little two-door.

Fiat just unveiled a refreshed interior and minor exterior styling updates on the 2016 Fiat 500 and, for some reason, the dash looks strikingly similar to an Xbox console. However, not only does it look like a video game console, but it actually has plenty of hi-tech functionality to go along with the refreshed modern look. To begin with, Fiat added a new five-inch screen to the dash powered by Uconnect which has a complete and totally awesome infotainment system. The Uconnect system enables the driver to enjoy many cool hi-tech features.

Some of these features include hands-free Bluetooth, voice recognition, and an SMS reader that reads text messages via innovative 'text to speech' technology. Fiat has also added the option to upgrade to a touchscreen console on the dash and to include a panoramic sunroof on lower-end models of the 500. High-level trim lines of the updated 500 will include these options as standard features. These main upgrades are part of 1,800 innovative detail changes that have been added to the 2016 500. In addition to these snazzy interior upgrades, Fiat has added some upgrades to the exterior of the car as well as to the engine lineup.

The car now features standard LED daytime running lights and new headlights, reworked tail light clusters and chrome trim that lines the edges of some of the bodywork. With regards to the engine options, the Euro-spec 500 will be available with either a 0.9-liter two-cylinder engine capable of producing either 85hp or 105hp. There will also be an option for a 1.2-liter 69 hp version of the car as well as a 1.3-liter turbo that produces 95 hp. The refreshed North American 500, expected to arrive soon, will feature similar exterior styling and interior enhancements, but those less powerful engines probably won't be available. Expect the existing engines to remain with probable upgrades.
