Honda is keen to remind us that the Japanese automaker has been in the US for 60 years. Along with the anniversary, Honda also wants to remind people that it's an enthusiast brand.SEMA is going to be a full-blown truck and SUV festagain this year, but Honda is still going to bring the noise with threeCivic Sibuilds. We'll get to those, but there will also be one seriously cool 1968 S800 Coupe on display. It's known as "Outlaw" and was built by American-Hong Kong actor, director, and producer, Danial Wu.

Wu contemplated an engine swap for the car, but opted for a rebuild instead and added a custom exhaust system, custom body kit, custom interior, and a suspension system that also lowers it by two inches. It's widened by four inches as well, hence the aggressive stance.

The first Civic Si build shown below is a 1999 model from Super Street, and won the Civic Si Challenge in 2000. The challenge was to modify the car on a $10,000 budget and has been preserved by Honda with its white flame paint scheme and shark finned rear wing. It's also been preserved in the form of a1:18-scale Hot Wheels model.

The blue Civic Si build is also from Super Street, and was a test car for off-the-shelf aftermarket products used to learn about the tuning potential of the Si. All the mods are 100% reversible and include an intake and intercooler kit, an ECU re-flash, a complete exhaust system, and turbo kit with a new down-pipe. The interior features lower-positioned seats with aggressive bolstering, and an adjustable shifter.

The Final Civic Si is a Formula Drift project from Jeanneret Racing and Olson Custom Works designed to go sideways as fast as possible. It's an engineering marvel that makes 926 horsepower from its K24 engine, and that power goes to a rear-wheel-drive conversion.
