亨尼西Supercharges 70th Anniversary Chevy Corvette To 758 Horsepower

The Texas tuner has given the special edition Vette supercar levels of performance.

The Texas tuner touts its H700 70th AnniversaryChevy Corvetteas a collectible, exclusively finished in White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat or Carbon Flash Metallic, both complemented by racing stripes. And while the 70th Anniversary edition has its own set of red-edged wheels and commemorative wheel center caps as part of the package, Hennessey replaces them with its own lightweight wheels with H-branded lids.

Other 70th Anniversary elements include special anniversary badging plus a special edition logo on the seats, steering wheel and sill plates, a rear bumper protector, and trunk cover. There's a custom luggage with red stitching and anniversary logo, too, while the engine gets a red cover.

Meanwhile, theH700 upgradecouples the engine with a high-flow 2.65-liter centrifugal supercharger and an air-to-water intercooler. With forced induction in employ, the 6.2-liter LT2 V8 makes 708 horsepower and 638 lb-ft of torque, making it more powerful than a stockCorvette Z06.

You may also choose to add the optional Hennessey's high-flow cat-back sport exhaust system that comes with the H750 package, boosting the power up to 758 hp.

"Considering that our power and torque surpass the factory Z06, the Hennessey H700 is arguably the best value high-performance supercar in the world," said CEO John Hennessey.

Beyond the Hennessey badging on the exterior, the mechanical upgrades include an upgraded auxiliary fuel system, chassis dyno calibration and testing, and strengthened necessary gaskets and additional fluids. The company also offers a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty for peace of mind.

亨尼西Performance didn't disclose the H700 or H750 package pricing for the 70th Anniversary Corvette C8, but for the regular 'Vettes, the package starts at $49,950 without cat-back exhaust. The supercharger kit alone is available for $34,850.
