The Exorcist Final Edition says goodbye to a muscle car icon in style.

亨尼西Performance has introduced its end-of-production Final Edition ofthe Chevy Camaro Exorcist, based on the outgoingChevrolet Camaro ZL1. The Texas-based tuner and hypercar builder isn't pulling any punches, stating it has the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in its crosshairs. Production of the Exorcist Final Edition will be limited to just 57 models, which is one for every year the Camaro was in production.

According to its maker, the Exorcist boasts 54% more power and 49% more torque than the standard car. That's 1,000 horses and 966 lb-ft of torque, suitable for a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.1 seconds and a 9.57 quarter-mile time. The top speed is 217 mph. So it's basicallyslower than the Demon 170 in every waythat matters. But the ZL1 is a track-focused model, whereas the Demon is a one-trick pony. In short, the Demon is fast in a straight line, but the Exorcist can do corners, too.

亨尼西didn't provide a video to back that quarter-mile claim, but it posted a warning to Demon 170 owners and a dyno run to try and scare them.

So what's the Exorcist's secret weapon against the Demon? Is it powered by blessed, holy E85? Nope. Hennessey takes the standard 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 and equips it with a high-flow supercharger and high-flow air induction. To ensure there's enough fuel going into the engine, the tuner also upgrades the auxiliary fuel system, fuel injectors, and fuel pump.

The cylinder heads are also ported and equipped with HPE camshafts. Hennessey also upgrades the intake valves, exhaust valves, valve springs, retainers, lifters, and pushrods. To keep things cool, the engine has an oversized heat exchanger.

Finally, the engine is connected to long-tube stainless steel headers and high-flow catalytic converters. You can listen to the results in the videos above and below. We suggest good quality earphones because this Excorcist sounds like it is possessed.

Each engine will feature a plaque with the car's number, as in "Final Edition XX of 57." On the outside, the car gets Exorcist Final Edition graphics. Hennessey didn't say how much it costs, but that production is already underway. The last special edition of the Exorcist was limited to 30 units and sold for $135,000. Since 2024 is thelast year the Camaro will exist, expect to pay a premium. To be fair, the Demon 170 is selling for supercar money.

"Our comprehensive upgrade to the Camaro ZL1 is one of my all-time favorites," said John Hennessey, company founder and CEO. "The chassis, suspension, and powerplant work seamlessly together, so all the driver experiences is raw, unbridled horsepower. There's nothing else like our Exorcist, so we're eager to share this special limited edition with fans of this iconic car before it's gone forever."
