German Power Wagons Are a Blitzkrieg of Awesome

Comparison /56 Comments

Life is full of tough choices, such as deciding between the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake.

Be prepared to see test drives of two of the coolest cars on the market today. Sadly, neither of which is available in the US. Typical. So it goes. The Audi RS 6 and Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting brake are a pair of super wagons that are ridiculously expensive, but are without a doubt worth every Euro/British Pound. Both have massive V8s with plenty of horsepower, and enough cargo space for anything from a couple sets of golf clubs, to fishing gear to all of your family's stuff for an extended road trip. But there is a difference.

The RS 6 has Audi's legendary Quattro all-wheel drive system while the CLS63 AMG is rear-wheel-drive. These German-built cruise missiles are sturdier than Panzer tanks, as much fun to drive as a Porsche 911, and have enough personality to make even the most stuck up Italian supercar nut giddy for a spin.
