Ford Mustang Upgraded With Lamborghini Guts

Muscle car gets $700,000 supercar upgrade.

We've seen plenty ofrenders over the years that merge existing cars together, resulting in some bizarre, and often downright disturbing, creations. What you're looking at here, however, is not a render. Someone thought it would be a good idea to combine a Lamborghini Gallardo with a Ford Mustang for real – and this is the result. It's called the Tractorri, named after Ferrucio Lamborghini's humble beginnings in the tractor business. It may look bizarre, but the engineering and craftsmanship on display here is commendable.

Barrett-Jackson

It started out as a 2007 Ford Mustang before being upgraded with the entire running gear from a brand-new Lamborghini Gallardo underneath. It's powered by the Lamborghini's 5.0-liter V10 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission where the Mustang's rear seat and trunk would normally be. Most of the bodywork is custom fabricated, and the exterior paint is a custom color created by the builder PPG.

Inside, the Gallardo's dash was chopped and modified to fit the Mustang. The all-wheel drive system allegedly works just like it did in the Gallardo, and there's also a front-axle lift for clearing curbs and steep driveways. In total, the modified Mustang cost a whopping $700,000 to build.

If you've ever dreamed of owning a Lamborghini-Mustang hybrid car, the one-of-a-kind custom Mustang will be going under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale sale in Arizona next month with 2,600 miles on the odometer and no reserve. It's certainly an acquired taste, but the car's uniqueness will appeal to someone out there.
