According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Ford has issued 42 recalls this year, affecting more than 4.6 million vehicles. That number is the most out of any automaker. TheFord Broncoalso had the company costing some dime. Last May, theautomaker recalled more than175,550 units of its midsize SUV off-roader for a design flaw found on the seatbelt.
