Fisker Alaska Pickup, Ronin Super-GT, And Pear Unveiled At Mega-Reveal Ceremony

"Fisker isn't standing still," said the company's CEO.

California-based EV carmaker Fisker may have started slowly in the United States with the arrival of theOceanSUV but the company has just come out with all guns blazing in Huntington Beach by revealing four new EVs. This diverse group of EVs will make up Fisker's lineup through 2026 and includes the highly anticipated Alaska pickup, the small Pear city EV, the Ronin four-door convertible, and an Ocean SUV equipped with arugged Force-E off-road package.

For Fisker to get to this stage just weeks afterdeliveries of the Ocean SUV beganis impressive. Besides having a chance to see the entire range together for the first time, Fisker also shared the pricing and availability for some models, so let's look at what lies ahead for the company.

Fisker Alaska

A few days ago, CEO Henrik Fisker described theAlaskaas theFerrari of pickups, a bold claim if ever there was one. Based on renderings of the pickup, we already knew it was shaping up to be a stylish entrant, and this reveal hasn't changed that perception.

高科技的灯光,高腰围和thick wheel arch cladding, it's a much sportier looker than the boxier Ford F-150 Lightning. Based on an extended version of the Ocean's FT31 platform, Fisker said the Alaska has been designed to be the world's lightest electric pickup, and the most sustainable truck too.

Although the bed looks a bit small at first glance, it's extendable from 4.5 to 9.2 feet. In the video below, the so-called 'Houdini bed divider' will be one of the truck's most jaw-dropping party tricks; this divider can hide away to connect the rear cabin and cargo bed or slide back up to keep them separate.

A projected range of between 230 and 340 miles has been targeted, putting the Alaska almost exactly within the Lightning's sights; the Ford has a range of between 240 and 320 miles.

Deliveries of the Alaska are expected to begin in 2025 with a starting price of $45,400 before incentives. Even aftermassive recent price cuts for the Ford, the Alaska will still be cheaper if Fisker can commit to this starting price two years from now.

Fisker PEAR

If the Fisker Alaska is still out of your price bracket, how about a new EV that starts at $29,900? That's the starting point of the Pear when it arrives in mid-2025.

Built on the brand's SLV-1 platform, Fisker says it has 35% fewer parts than comparable EVs. We usually take terms like "category-breaking lifestyle vehicle" with a pinch of salt, but the compact Pear fits this description. Most closely resembling a tiny crossover, the Pear can somehow accommodate six people in its interior across two rows. Its broad, wraparound windscreen is the kind of styling feature we expect from the French, but it's not all style. At the back, the Houdini Trunk features a panel that slides out of sight (scroll to 1:03:15 in the video below to see it in action) to allow access to the cargo area without having to step out of the way of a traditional hatch or liftgate.

There is also a front storage compartment that Fisker calls a Froot (front boot) instead of a frunk. This car will also be the first to use the Fisker Blade central computing platform.

Four trim levels of the Pear will be available.

Fisker Ronin

Positioned as the brand's halo car, the Ronin is the world's first electric four-door convertible GT with seating for five. It has a carbon fiber hard-top and four butterfly doors, although this prototype might be more extreme than the version that goes on sale. And yes, the name Ronin was inspired by the John Frankenheimer film of the same name that featured mind-blowing car chase scenes shot in Nice and France. Like the movie, Henrik Fisker wanted a car "that can really make your heart pump."

Fisker is targeting a range of over 600 miles for the Ronin, while its triple-motor powertrain will produce over 1,000 horsepower, enough for a 0-60 mph sprint of just two seconds; we'd call that pretty heart-pumping performance. Unsurprisingly, the Ronin will be built in limited numbers and be "ultra-luxury priced."

Fisker has already opened reservations for the Ronin at $2,000 for a first reservation or $1,000 for a fully refundable second reservation.

Fisker Ocean With Force E Off-Road Package

The Ocean is very much an on-road electric crossover designed for family use on normal roads, but the Force E package has a transformative effect on the vehicle. It will be available in two all-wheel-drive trims - Ultra and Extreme - but the package can also be added on retrospectively.

客户可以预计20日33英寸轮胎-inch wheels, better ground clearance, front and rear skid plates, and an underbody plate. Special dampers and a practical roof basket are also part of the package.

Pricing for the Force E package will be announced at a later stage, and it will be available in the first quarter of next year.

"Fisker isn't standing still," said CEO Henrik Fisker. "We want the world to know that we have big plans and intend to move into several different segments, redefining each with our unique blend of design, innovation, and sustainability."

While this lineup of EVs will take Fisker to around 2026, the company has even more exciting plans beyond this date. "By 2027, we intend to produce the world's first climate-neutral vehicle, and as our customers reinvent their relationships with mobility, we want to be a leader in software-defined transportation," said Fisker.

While we await the arrival of these models, we do hope that Fisker is able to meet its projected timelines. Already, the Pear's release datehas been delayedas the company was still hunting for a battery supplier for its smallest model.
