First-Ever Rezvani Vengeance Delivered To NFL Superstar

Luxury /9 Comments

Amari Cooper is the first customer to take delivery of Rezvani's road-going tank.

If you live in an affluent area such as Beverly Hills or Southampton Village, driving around in a regularCadillac Escaladewon't do. You need to stand out from the crowd. For that, nothing but the Rezvani Vengeance will do.

Revealed last year, this Escalade-based monster on wheels has bucketloads of presence. The boutique company has finally delivered its first example, Vengeance 001, to Amari Cooper, an NFL football player.

The 29-year-old has chosen a rather bold spec for his military-inspired ride. It wears a SWAT Blue satin finish, which adds $5,000 to the $285,000 base price. Bespoke hues are also available for $10,000. The disc-style 22-inch wheels have been color-matched to the angular exterior.

Rezvani does not mention what powertrain, of which there are four to choose from, is fitted to Cooper's example. A 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 is the entry-level engine choice, but buyers can pay extra if they require something else.

A 3.0-liter diesel engine is available for $3,500, but the Supercharged V8 options appeal most. Available in 650 hp and 810 hp states of tune, these options retail for $55,000 and $125,000, respectively.

The extroverted styling is arguably the highlight of the Vengeance. Company CEO Ferris Rezvani says he wanted to bring science fiction cars from video games to life. "The vision was to offer a fresh design inspired by armored vehicle concepts not typically seen on the road. The goal was a daily drivable vehicle that is purpose-built, rugged, off-road capable with a design that is muscular and well-proportioned," said Rezvani.

As standard, the Vengeance is unarmored. However, if you require a fortress on wheels, the firm will happily sell you the $125,000 Military Package. This includes bulletproof glass, body armor, underbody explosive protection, and even a hypothermia kit, among other things.

The interior is much the same as the Escalades, which is no bad thing. There are five upholstery and trim combos, some of which cost $10,000. As standard, the Vengeance has a seven-seat layout. Eight seats can be specified at $3,500. However, if you want the best experience, purchase the $125,000 Executive Seating package.

With a starry headliner, bar, Apple TV, and two captain's chairs - with heating, ventilation, and power adjustment - the Vengeance is transformed into a mobile luxury hotel. The options list is absurdand can push the base price well into Rolls-Royce territory.

If you practice no restraint and tick all the boxes on the options list, be prepared to pay $789,250, which is ridiculous for something based on a $100,000 Cadillac. Then again, it offers several unique options and an unrivaled scope for personalization.
