If the winning bidder already has a 2018 Demon tucked away in his garage, Dodge will happily match its VIN to the Challenger Demon 170, provided the number is still available. We're guessing the owner will be able to fill the vehicle with all the desired options,of which there are many.

There's a $5,995 Premium Package, which includes an 18-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, driver assists, and heated/ventilated seats with Laguna leather upholstery. Should you desire a sunroof, Dodge will begrudgingly equip one for the lavish sum of $9,995 - the automakerpurposefully made it expensiveto discourage owners from specifying the heavy luxury item.

We're elated that the Demon 170 attracted such generous bids for a good cause, continuing an excellent tradition. In May,the first Corvette E-Ray soldfor $1.1 million. Last year, someone paidhalf a million dollars for a Cadillac Escalade-V, all in the name of supporting charity.
