Electric Rolls-Royce Spectre Is Eerily Quiet On The Move

TheRolls-Royce Spectre EVis due to be given an official reveal by the middle of next year as arguably the most revolutionary product from the brand. The large luxury coupe will be its first official venture into electrification as it begins its journey to makeall of its cars a bit cleanerby 2030 through electrification.

Previously, Rolls-Royce had said that it would not even think about making an electric model unless it was confident that it could get the formula right. This should come as an assurance to those who are worried about the Spectre not being a true Rolls-Royce. Considering that it is an electric model, the test unit is unsurprisingly silent while accelerating but a recent report does hint that the aural experience from the cabin will be traditionalthrough synthetic engine notes.

Most importantly, while it cruises about the German country roads, we can clearly see that the test unit translates a traditionally lofty ride as it soaks up the unlevel surface. Unfortunately, we don't have a clear indication of its performance and dynamic characteristics but admittedly, the car does look like it is being tested as a conventional Rolls-Royce owner would drive their car.
