Corvette-Powered Jeep Gladiator 6x6 Is One Wild Pickup

Tuning /12 Comments

Jeep Gladiators don't get much more extreme than this.

TheJeep Gladiatoris one of the most capable midsize pickup trucks on the market, but that hasn't stopped aftermarket tuners from trying to improve it. If you want more performance, Hennessey offers theHellcat-powered Maximus, which produces a colossal 1,000 horsepower. If, however, you want even more capability, Florida-based SoFlo Jeeps has built a custom Jeep Gladiator with six wheels and a Corvette engine.

Dubbed the So Flo Jeeps SF 6x6G, this extreme Gladiator is truly one-of-a-kind. To create this behemoth, So Flo took a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, cut it in half, extended the frame, and added two additional wheels on a custom fabricated axle.

This is a true6x6 off-roadertoo, with power being sent to all six wheels and a nine-inch differential that makes it unstoppable.

The bodywork is custom made with a scratch-resistance coating mixed with Kevlar fiber that is 1/16 of an inch thick. An aftermarket grille, custom fenders, and new headlights add to the truck's menacing appearance. In fact, the doors are the only original-factory parts you'll find on this bonkers six-wheeled Gladiator. The doors and top are removable and power steps are activated when a door is opened, allowing for easy access to the cabin, which features hand-stitched Marine Grade leather.

Under the custom-made fiberglass hood lies a high-revving LS3 6.2-liter V8 from a Chevrolet Corvette that produces 500 horsepower. An aftermarket suspension system increases the ride height by five inches while giving the truck 14 inches of suspension travel. Massive 40-inch tires round off the list of modifications.

Despite the extensive modifications, this Gladiator 6x6 is street legal and has a towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. This wild Gladiator was recently listed for sale at James Edition for $175,000 but the listing has been removed at the time of writing so it may have been sold. If it's been sold, let's hope its new owner enjoys taking it on some wild off-road adventures.
