Chevy Wants Everyone To Have A Badass 1LE Camaro, Even V6 Owners

Werecently reportedthat the new Camaro 1LE would debut at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. We now have full details, as well as some unexpected ones, on Chevy's most hardcore Camaro. We knew that the 1LE pack would likely continue the success of the previous generation that was visually distinguished with a satin black hood, unique wheels and other aesthetic upgrades. Now, more people will be able to enjoy this look because the new 1LE pack is available on 1LT and 2LT coupes equipped with the 3.6-liter V6. Spread the love!

The 1LE pack comes standard with more aggressive suspension tuning, Brembo brakes and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Optional Recaro racing seats and performance data recorder turn the Camaro into a track monster. Ordering the package on the V8 SS model will get you magnetic ride control, with a new FE4 suspension tuning and an electronic limited-slip differential. The SS also gets the Recaro seats and data recorder as standard equipment. You may bark at the idea of offering a hardcore track pack for the less powerful V6 Camaro, but Chevy claims that the new V6 model offers comparable lap times to the old V8 model.
