Here's your chance to build and own your very own old/new classic Ford Mustang.

Yes, the headline is true, kind of. Here's the story: A company named Dynacorn has just unveiled a new Ford-approved body shell for the '64 1/2, '65, or '66 Mustang convertible. Revealed just ahead of the SEMA show in Las Vegas beginning in just a few days, the company will soon be selling the body shells priced at $15,000 each. Originally launched back in 1964, the original Mustang sold more than 1.2 million units in its first three years alone.

It has since gone on to become one of the best-selling and most beloved cars in American automotive history. The new kit includes the doors, trunk lid, and everything from the radiator support to the taillight panel. It's only missing the hood and front fenders. What's really cool is that the new shell is made from modern welding techniques and is fully rust-proof. So for anyone who's wanted to own a classic Mustang but was concerned with those old car issues such rusting, this might be the ideal project. However, owners will still need to provide some other essential items to make their old/new Mustang roadworthy.

They will need to add the engine, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, all interior components and pretty much everything else that makes a car roadworthy. The interior can actually be taken from an existing car or it can be bought new. All other parts can be bought from Ford-approved classic parts suppliers. Overall, this could be an incredible project for anyone with the extra time, money, and resources.
