BMW Preps for Winter with X1 Powder Ride Edition

Special Editions /2 Comments

BMW and ski manufacturer K2 team up for a special-edition crossover for the winter.

Winter is coming, and for BMW, that means a new limited edition X1 crossover. Built in conjunction with renowned ski company K2, the new Powder Ride Edition X1 features everything you need for a day on the mountains, including a new sound system and a set of specially-designed skis. The most noticeable new features on the winter-themed special edition is a 460 roof box and ski rack on the roof housing a pair of exclusive K2 LTD Powder Ride skis.

Sitting on aluminum roof rails, the storage unit has plenty of room for transporting what-have-you on a day on the mountain. In addition to the roof rack and skis, BMW has added upgraded trim and leather around the interior along with door sill strips, ambient lights, Harmon-Kardon sound syustem and a new steering wheel. It's all kept in the shade by tinted windows that offset the new graphics, optional Valencia Orange metallic paint and lowered suspension fitted to grey-tone 10-inch wheels. The BMW X1 Powder Ride Concept is based on the X-line trim and can be had on either the xDrive28i or xDrive35i.
