Including the exotic Bacalar.

Bentley Mulliner is the oldest coachbuilding company in the world, but it is not in the business of fixing antique horse-drawn carriages. In fact, it has been producing some cutting edge work of late, which includes the simply stunningBentley Bacalar, and theMulliner editionof theBentley Continental GT. The company has now returned toSalon Prive, the UK's most exclusive Concours d'Elegance with a trio of cars that shows off exactly what the company is capable of, and signals the public debut of the Bacalar. Also on show is the new Continental GT Mulliner coupe and a classic part-restored 1929 4½-Litre Supercharged Team Blower.

This is the first time that cars from all three Mulliner portfolios have been shown together.

The Bentley Mulliner 1929 Team Blower (reg No. UU5872) on display has seen a massive restoration with each of its individual components being stripped and restored. The car was 3D scanned to create a complete digital model, and new parts were manufactured to assist in the building of 12 other examples. Glyn Davies, Special Projects Leader at Bentley Mulliner division comments: "Without modern car building techniques, the engineers would have struggled to build a chassis which was perfectly symmetrical. We will be restoring Team Car No.2 to exactly how it would have been, but we will be building our 12 recreation cars to be perfectly symmetrical."

Bentley Mulliner also showcased its Bacalar and Continental GT for the first time at the prestigious car show. The Bacalar is the rarest two-door Bentley of the modern era and is the "definitive" Bentley grand tourer. Only 12 of these cars will be made, with Mulliner working hand-in-hand with customers to make each car truly unique. The Bacalar is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine with 650 horsepower and 667 lb-ft of torque.

The other car on show is the Mulliner Continental GT which is a luxury derivative of the standard car and includes new features such as a 'Double Diamond' matrix grille, a unique Breitling clock, and illuminated outer door sills with Mulliner text.

"Mulliner has a rich history and expertise spanning centuries of coachbuilding. These qualities of fine craftsmanship and visionary design are still evident in Mulliner's latest products," said chairman and chief executive, Adrian Hallmark.
