Audi S4 Provides Speed with Four Doors

Based off the hugely successful A4 sedan, the S4 is the high-performance version. In addition to all of the same luxurious features as the base A4, the S4 goes even further, performance wise. With its 3.0 liter V6, it produces over 300 horsepower and will hurl you from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. There are two transmission options. The first is the now standard 6-speed manual transmission. For you technology buffs, opt for the seven-speed dual clutch.

The main difference between the latest model and its predecessor is that a V8 is no longer used. Instead, Audi downsized and managed to squeeze out even more power from the 3.0 liter turbo charged V6. This is a part of Audi strategy to begin downsizing engines in order to maximize fuel economy.
