2022 Ford Mustang Just Dropped A Cool Option

The legendary pony car is getting ready for a major makeover in 2023, but is still keeping things interesting with a bunch of new special editions set to drop for 2022, including the first-ever Stealth Edition, an Ice White appearance package, a revised California Special package, and an upcoming Coastal Limited package. As Ford curates the Mustang lineup for the 2022 model year, some features are being dropped, most notably the Carbon Sport Interior package.

This news comes after Ford announced that the Mustang GT and Mach 1 would suffer from a 10-horsepower power drop due to ever-tightening emissions regulations. The Carbon Sport Interior package is available on 2021 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium and GT trims, and adds some extra sportiness to the already racy interior of the Mustang. The package includes features such as Alcantara-trimmed door and seat inserts, and carbon-fiber inserts on the instrument panel and shift-knob. Those looking for a unique cabin can try out the Ice White package, which adds Ice White door and instrument panels and unique white leather upholstery.
