Muscle Cars /25 Comments

Begun the new Muscle Car Wars have.

As scheduled, the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is now in production at GM's Lansing Grand River Assembly. In fact, the first batch will be leaving the plant by the end of this week, according to Chevrolet, and the first customer deliveries will be happening by the middle of next month. The first Camaros to roll off the line are coupes – SS and LT models, the latter with the 3.6-liter V6. Convertibles won't arrive until sometime next spring, along with the new 2.0-liter turbo four banger option. The base 1LT trim carries a starting price of $26,695.

However, the Ford Mustang V6 begins at $23,895. Not a huge difference and we really doubt Camaro people will even consider switching sides over that. In any case, right around the time you're reading this you'll be able to spot new Camaros being hauled across the US to their future owners.
