2013 Toyota Venza Facelift Revealed at New York

Since offering the merest of glimpses of the refreshed Venza a few weeks ago, we haven't heard a peep out of Toyota. Now we have a full set of pictures and details of the model's modest makeover to share, released just a day before it debuts at the New York Auto Show. The biggest change is up front, with a new, simplified grille. There are less horizontal bars atop the bumper and a chrome accent attempts to give the crossover a bit more class.

New headlamps, blacked-out fog lights with a chrome accent ring, and reworked door mirrors with built-in turn signals represent a trio of new light fixtures. And aside from subtly updated taillights, everything seems to be the same as the 2012 model. Buyers can opt for newly-styled 19-inch alloys and three exterior colors of Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl and Cosmic Gray Mica. Minimal interior changes come in the form of an updated steering wheel buttons with Toyota's Etune multimedia system is available with higher-trim Venza models, which integrates user's smart phone with the car's dashboard display.
