$200,000 Range Rover SV Golden Edition Isn't Subtle

Next week, the newLand Rover Range Roverwill be revealed. The news was confirmed by the company as itteased new imagesof theall-conquering SUV. But before that happens, Land Rover has gone ahead and announced a special, extremely limited version of the existing Range Rover in Japan. Known as the Range Rover SV Golden Edition, a mere five examples of this luxury SUV will be made available. This special edition model is a product of the company'sSpecial Vehicle Operations(SVO) department and is based on the high-specification Autobiography trim, so you can probably guess what the price is like.

As the name suggests, the SV Golden Edition's exterior is jazzed up with gold trim, including a tailgate finisher in gold. The primary paint color is an SV-bespoke blue, and it combines with the gold trim to create quite a commanding presence. Other unique touches include a different front bumper finisher and side accent graphics. The Range Rover rides on large 22-inch wheels with a seven-split-spoke design and a contrast diamond-turned finish.

The interior is more restrained as Land Rover has chosen to stick to a black color scheme. The seats are upholstered in classy semi-aniline leather and the dark look extends to the Ebony headliner. There are bright metal pedals as well.
