No one in their right mind would dare destroy a 718 Spyder purely to see if it's safe or not, and thus, this car goes without an official safety rating from the NHTSA and IIHS. Do not despair; Porsche cars regularly score in the top percentile on the Euro NCAP safety rating scale.
NHTSA safety ratings are not available at this time.

There have been no recalls for the past two years. The last recalls were issued early in 2021 for connecting rod issues and suspension-related issues. And although there are no official reliability ratings, Porsche will cover the 718 Spyder with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and 24-hour roadside assistance.
Despite not having any official safety ratings, the Porsche 718 Spyder should prove to be a safe vehicle and includes most safety necessities. It doesn't come with the long list of driver assist modern cars are known for, however.
There are a grand total of two airbags covering the two passengers in the Porsche drop-top.
