2023 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 Trims & Specs

There is just one Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 trim, and its specs are impressive. It has a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with outputs of 603 hp and 627 lb-ft. Just one powertrain configuration is available - AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive and an AMG Speedshift TCT nine-speed automatic transmission. On the outside, the sole GLS 63 trim level has a power glass sunroof, all-LED exterior lighting, a power liftgate, and 21-inch alloy wheels. All exterior brightwork can be blacked out via the AMG Night package.

In terms of standard specifications and driver-assistance features, the list is long and includes such items as forward-collision alert with auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and lane-keep assist, to name a few. Soft-close doors, 64-color ambient lighting, 5-zone climate control, Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and heated and cooled front cupholders are all standard. Infotainment comprises two 12.3-inch screens in the cockpit, and sound goes through a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, but a 26-speaker Burmester setup is optional. Other standalone options include a heated AMG Performance steering wheel, the MBUX Interior Assistant, and heated third-row seats.
